Telegram limits in 2026

Telegram's client limits, how many actions a day an account really survives, what gets it spam-blocked or frozen. At the end, a calculator: how many accounts your volume needs.

Account, chat and message limits

These are Telegram's own limits: no software can get around them. Premium raises some of them.

Working limits in the niche

How many actions a day one account can take. A summary of open guides by automation services, account sellers and forums, 2025–2026. Where sources disagree, the careful end is taken.

Direct messages to strangers

New account, under 30 days
5–10
Warmed up
25–50

Replies to incoming messages do not count. You can write to contacts many times more.

Invites to a group

New account, under 30 days
10–20
Warmed up
50–150

Ramp up day by day: 50, 100, 150. After PEER_FLOOD the account rests for a day.

Joining channels and chats

New account, under 30 days
1–5
Warmed up
20–40

No more than 500 per account in total, 1000 with Premium.

Comments under posts

New account, under 30 days
10–20
Warmed up
20–50

Figures of 300+ a day appear in ads, practitioners do not confirm them.

Messages in chats

New account, under 30 days
10–20
Warmed up
20–50

Behaves like comments: pace and varied text matter more than volume.

Reactions to posts

New account, under 30 days
50–100
Warmed up
250–500

On stories about 60 reactions an hour of one type.

Direct messages to strangers by account age

One mailing service's ladder: the ceiling grows with the account's age. A young account starts at 5 a day and adds one for every calm day.

  1. 8up to 3 days
  2. 15up to 7 days
  3. 25up to 14 days

Spam blocks and freezes: why and for how long

What gets an account spam-blocked

  • Reports from recipients. Sometimes one is enough to put the account under review.
  • The same text to many people in a row, and a link in the very first message.
  • Ad links and chat invite links sent to strangers.
  • Lots of joins and actions on an account with no warm-up.
  • Trigger phrases like «claim your money» and vacancies with sky-high pay.
  • A proxy from another country than the number, or a burnt proxy other accounts already worked through.
  • A number with a previous owner's history, or a virtual number.

A first temporary spam block usually lasts from a few hours to 2–3 days, and each next one longer: a day, a week, a month, then forever. @SpamBot names the lift date, though not always. Trying to «push through» with more mailing only extends it.

What gets an account frozen

  • Freezes appeared in May 2025: a step before an account is deleted.
  • Reports of spam and fraud.
  • Sudden activity on fresh registrations and suspicious actions right after sign-up.
  • A change of number or login region.
  • There are false positives, for example after sending an APK file.

How to lift a freeze

  1. 1Open @SpamBot and press the appeal button under the freeze message.
  2. 2Answer the questions and solve the captcha within 5 minutes in a full browser.
  3. 3Give your real name. The date in the message is the deletion date, not the lift date: there is no review deadline.
  4. 4A paid «unfreeze» is the same appeal for money, or an attempt to get your login.

What Telegram's answers mean

FLOOD_WAIT
Wait the named number of seconds, usually from a minute to a few hours. Retrying earlier makes it longer.
PEER_FLOOD
The account messaged or invited too many people. Stop that work for a day.
USER_PRIVACY_RESTRICTED
The person does not allow being invited. Waiting will not help, it is their setting.
FROZEN_METHOD_INVALID
The account is frozen. Retrying is useless, an appeal is needed.

Warm-up before work

  1. Days 1–2One action a day: photo, bio, name.
  2. Day 3Join 1–2 chats.
  3. Day 4One message.
  4. Day 5Another chat, a like or a comment.
  5. Days 6–7Up to 10–15 actions a day, sessions of 2–5 minutes.
  6. 10–14 daysFull warm-up before mailing or inviting. After changing the name or avatar, 48 hours without work.

Proxies

  • Keep up to three accounts on one proxy, five is the limit.
  • The IP's country matches the number's country.
  • Mobile proxies are best for warm-up and inviting, residential for mailing, data-centre only for parsing.
  • A fixed address, or rotation no more often than every 10–60 minutes.

How many accounts you need

Pick a module, a mode, your kind of accounts and a volume. The calculator counts both the panel's pauses and the niche's working limits.

Mode
Accounts
Accounts needed
27

One account manages about 38 actions a day in this mode.

Bound by the niche limit: about 38 a day per account.

The smaller of two is used: what an account manages at these pauses, and what it survives a day by the niche's numbers. Keep spares: some accounts will hit a spam block anyway.

FAQ

How many messages a day can one account send?
Practitioners keep 5–10 messages to strangers a day on a new account and 25–50 on a warmed one; up to 80 on accounts older than three months. Replies to incoming messages do not count. Numbers are not everything: reports, identical text and a link in the first message get a spam block faster than any limit.
How many channels can I join?
Up to 500 channels and supergroups per account without Premium, up to 1000 with it. Joining them quickly in a row is not possible: Telegram answers with FloodWait.
What is FloodWait?
Telegram's «wait N seconds» when actions of one kind come too often. Wait exactly the named time: retrying earlier only makes the pause longer.
Does Premium help against spam blocks?
Yes. An account with Premium is trusted more: it gets to send more before a limit, and a spam block on a Premium account is often lifted right away. Not always and not endlessly, and you can work without Premium too.
Why are TeleTraff's pauses so long?
An account costs more than an hour of waiting. The pauses are chosen so the actions look like ordinary Telegram use, not like software.
